Great shopping in Singapore isn't confined to just Orchard Road. Former godowns and shophouses along the Singapore River have been transformed into attractive shopfr-onts for fashion, souvenirs, silk wear and home furnishings. Pushcarts selling unique pottery, jewellery and woodcraft I<nid<-I<nad<s add to the festive atmosphere.The flea market on weekends with its collector's items, antiques and other paraphernalia is worth checking out, as are the numerous factory outlets.

This complex is named after one of the favourite local entertainment centres in the 60's. Anchor tenants include Cold Storage supermarket and the plush GV Grand Cineplex. A free shuttle trolley service to the shopping centre runs from the Marriott Hotel, Lucky Plaza and The Paragon on Orchard Road.
